We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to lead and manage cybersecurity operations across the organization. This role will serve as WIA’s primary cybersecurity subject matter expert, responsible for protecting company systems, networks, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry best practices.


The ideal candidate is a hands-on cybersecurity professional with strong technical expertise in security operations, incident response, cloud security, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation.

What you'll be doing


Security Operations

  • Monitor security alerts and events across SIEM, EDR, email security, and network security platforms.
  • Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware infections, phishing attacks, unauthorized access attempts, and data security events.
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting activities and identify indicators of compromise.
  • Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms.
  • Coordinate incident response activities and document findings, lessons learned, and remediation actions.


Vulnerability Management

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans across systems, networks, and applications.
  • Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk exposure and business impact.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to remediate identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Track remediation progress and provide regular status reporting to management.


Identity & Access Management

  • Review and monitor privileged accounts and administrative access.
  • Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) deployment and management initiatives.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and user entitlement audits.
  • Assist with Zero Trust and least-privilege security programs.


Application Security

  • Coordinate application security assessments and penetration testing activities.
  • Review security requirements for new applications, integrations, and projects.
  • Support secure software development and deployment practices.
  • Evaluate third-party software solutions and cloud services from a cybersecurity perspective.


Security Awareness & Training

  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
  • Conduct phishing simulations and security awareness campaigns.
  • Promote cybersecurity best practices throughout the organization.


Security Architecture & Engineering

  • Review firewall policies and network security configurations.
  • Support the security of Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS cloud environments.
  • Recommend and implement security enhancements and emerging technologies.
  • Support encryption, data protection, and data loss prevention (DLP) initiatives.


Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop cybersecurity dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Provide regular reporting on security posture, incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status.
  • Recommend strategic improvements to strengthen organizational security and reduce risk.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 


Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Minimum 5+ years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
  • Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure security controls.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, email security, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys, or similar cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience supporting compliance programs, governance initiatives, and audits.
  • Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud security best practices.
  • Experience conducting cybersecurity awareness training programs.
