We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Administrator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, Microsoft cloud services, and IT assets while ensuring reliable IT operations, timely issue resolution, and secure technology environments.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering efficient and secure IT services while contributing to infrastructure, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll be doing
IT Support & Operations
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents while ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Support users across Microsoft technologies, endpoint devices, and enterprise applications.
- Assist in maintaining business continuity through reliable IT operations.
IT Asset Management
- Manage IT asset inventory, allocation, lifecycle tracking, and documentation.
- Coordinate device procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal processes.
- Monitor software licensing compliance and hardware warranty status.
- Ensure accurate asset records and reporting.
- Undertake limited and occasional business travel when necessary to support IT infrastructure and operational requirements.
User & Systems Administration
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Support endpoint management and device compliance initiatives.
- Assist with identity and access management best practices.
Infrastructure & Security Support
- Perform daily reviews of sign-in logs, security alerts, and system health reports.
- Investigate anomalies and assist with incident response and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain endpoint security, EDR health, vulnerability remediation, and security policies.
- Administer enterprise password management and privileged access management solutions.
- Support secure credential management and compliance with security policies.
- Assist in maintaining secure networking, VPN, and firewall environments.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain IT documentation, support records, and asset management logs.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, cloud initiatives, and technology improvement projects.
- Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement efforts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT Support, IT Administration, or a similar role.
- Experience delivering IT support across Microsoft technologies, hardware, software, and networking environments.
- Knowledge of IT Asset Management and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, and Azure administration.
- Familiarity with EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint security management.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-200, MD-102, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure and modern workplace technologies.
