Responsibilities
- Installation, Configuration, and Administration Oracle database.
- Perform daily health checks and alerts.
- Monitoring databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance.
- Reviewing database performance reports, as well as Middleware information
- Knowledge of database backups and recovery.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of oracle WebLogic server administration would be added advantage.
- Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to work with clients and help to troubleshoot and resolve the issues.
- Linux and Azure hand on experience preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar from a recognized university.
- A Minimum of 2 years working experience in database administration on Oracle Database.
- Oracle Certification would be an added advantage (OCA, OCP).
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
