WIA Values in Action - Creating a Better Future for the Students of Atharagallewa Maha Vidyalaya
As WIA Systems Inc. continues grow with purpose, we created and launched our WIA Values in Action Program to share our passions and efforts to contribute back to our local communities. We understand our responsibility and the opportunity we have to contribute back to the society that stepped into the accomplishments of our company. In this journey, we expect to provide extended support towards promoting quality education and sustaining poverty within our community reach.
As initial deployment, we partnered with the school Pl/Atharagallewa Maha Vidyalaya, located in the city of Polonnaruwa. We approached this initiative with the expectation to shape the young and enthusiastic minds of the school and help them to become pillars of strength in the future. Pl/Atharagallewa Maha Vidyalaya currently educates 600+ students and has been experiencing accommodation issues as well as undersupplied resources.

Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it the most.
WIA had the opportunity to spend quality time with the elders residing at the Arthur Elders Home in Pannipitiya on the 09th of July 2023. Witnessing their joyful smiles & gratitude was a truly heartwarming experience. Continuing our distribution efforts, we moved on to Maharagama town, reaching out to the needy around the area. We believe that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone's life.

Sarangi Silva has been selected to participate in the World Athletic Continental Tour Gold competition in Japan and WIA is delighted to sponsor Sarangi's participation. Fund Raiser Movie Night
The fundraising movie night in Colombo was held on 16th December 2022. WIA Systems sponsored the event alongside the IFS community including customers and partners. The funds raised through this partnership will contribute to the provision of essential resources to those in need and help build more sustainable communities.

WIA team joined the beach clean-up which was organized by Colombo Cooperative in partnership with Rotaract Raffles Colombo and Its good beach, a local community brought together to build this beach as one of the main tourist attractions in Colombo.
