What you'll be doing
- Support Kubernetes-based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues.
- Performing application deployments on the Kubernetes cluster.
- Installed, configured, and maintained services with conduct/troubleshooting system diagnostics.
- Managed and performed upgrades and patches on Linux (REHL & OEL)
- Depth knowledge in LVM, NTP, SSH, and SFTP configuration on the cloud (Azure)
- Language proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Certified with CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology along with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on-experience with Kubernetes in the following areas –
- Deployment, ReplicaSet, DaemonSet, Statefulsets, Jobs
- Managing Kubernetes secrets
- Ingress Controllers (Nginx, Istio, etc.) and cloud-native load balancers
- Managing Kubernetes storages (PV, PVC, Storage Classes, Provisioners)
- Kubernetes Networking (Services, Endpoints, DNS, Load Balancers)
- Kubernetes security concepts like Pod Security standards, security contexts, and namespaces
- Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and registry
- Solid understanding of Terraform and Docker.
- Scripting experience in Terraform, PowerShell, Puppet, Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, or similar.
Preferred
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Sound knowledge in IFS technologies and development tools
- Cross-platform work experience
